Blue (tra la la) [Uncategorized] — DrJoolz @ 11:23 pm

Blue

Blue is the color of night
When the red sun
Disappears from the sky
Raven feathers shiny and black
A touch of blue glistening down her back
We don’t talk about heaven and we don’t talk about hell
We come to depend on one another so damn well
So go to confession whatever gets you through
You can count your blessings I’ll just count on blue

Lucinda Williams
TT is brilliant. This is from his photostream on Flickr.

  3. Thanks I am glad you like it; I adore the richness of the colour in this thing and it took TT a-a-a-ges to photoshop the eagle into it. We went to see Lucinda W the other week and she was totally fabulous.

  4. Come back Dr Joolz wherever you are! (I hope you are well) I usually read your blog inbetween writing assignments as a work avoidance tactic.

  6. DrJoolz,

The chorus of this song, the first four lines above, is amazingly rich and beautiful. I’ve been listening to the song a lot this past week. She played here last Sunday and it was beyond good. Love the Flikr pic.
